We’ve been returning to the Oberwirt for several years and always love coming back. The rooms and holiday apartment are well equipped, and the place feels quaint and cozy. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and so welcoming.

Three families stayed with the Lackner family at Gasthof Oberwirt from 26.12. to 02.01.19, and we were looked after so warmly. That’s a proper holiday! The lift in Embach is just 100 m away, so it’s an easy place to learn to ski at your own pace. Skiverleih Sommerer right by the lift is highly recommended, with fair prices and great service. You can learn to ski without the huge commercial feel of the big ski schools.

We spent three lovely days at the Oberwirt and lacked for nothing. The atmosphere was so cozy, with a great breakfast and good, hearty dinner. If our vacation time allows, we’ll definitely stay at the Oberwirt again.

A picturesque, fantastic place where the hosts make it feel like home. They’re open-minded and take great care of tourists. There’s plenty to do in town, and families can count on a relaxing stay, with skiing, sledding, and interesting walks.

We had a fantastic week. The rustic atmosphere and friendly hosts were just what we liked. Breakfast and dinner were superb, and I have to mention my morning coffee too. Thanks to the hosts. We’ll definitely come back. Sincerely, the Hartling Family
