Catalleya Haus

We had a great time in this pretty town, and the rooms were very good. The hosts were welcoming and happy to help, even giving us a ride to the train station.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with fresh local products that were all top quality. The guesthouse is close to wineries, bike paths, and the center of Langenlois, yet quiet enough for a peaceful stay. The hosts were attentive and friendly, with recommendations for wineries, walks, and restaurants. I appreciated how personally they looked after me. From arrival, the place had a warm, authentic feel that suited the wine region. My room was bright, clean, and nicely decorated, with modern touches alongside local character. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept well each night. I’d happily return. It would suit a romantic break, a relaxing weekend, or a trip focused on local wine.

We were eight friends spending a weekend in Langenlois, and Cattalleya House worked very well for us. It’s in a quiet cellar lane, with the center, wine taverns, restaurants, and wineries only a few minutes away. There’s a drinks fridge on the ground floor, and the house is well equipped. Breakfast was generous, and the price was good for what we got. The owner and her mother were especially hospitable. We’d love to stay again.

It’s a short stroll to the main square, and the price is especially good for this region. Breakfast has a nice range, and the jams are well worth trying. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were friendly and very helpful. A pleasant, no-fuss place. I’d gladly come back and stay longer.
