Bio-Bauernhof Matzhof

The ski bus stops right outside, and there’s a ground-floor ski room where our gear could dry overnight. We spent a week skiing in Leogang and found the Matzhof an excellent place to stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We were welcomed warmly and felt comfortable from the first minute. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend the Matzhof.

The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the apartment has everything you need. It’s ideally located for hiking and not far from the bike park. I highly recommend Matzhof.

We had a great 14 days at the Matzhof. The farm is also a handy base for reaching two gorges, a summer toboggan run, and the gondola to the Asitz mountain with its sensory park. Our grandchildren loved the covered trampoline, which they could use even when it rained, along with the go-karts and other pedal vehicles. They also loved Morli, the little black cat. We picked dandelions for the rabbits and other animals, and the swings were popular too. We stayed in the "Enzian" apartment from July 10th to July 24th, 2021, with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren Theo (4 years old) and Annelie (2 years old). With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a guest toilet, and a combined living/kitchen area, there was lots of room for us. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Fresh bread delivery and eggs were provided, and with four adults, we appreciated having two bathrooms. The apartment was very clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed. Matzhof is a charming traditional farm with livestock and three holiday apartments. We’d gladly come back.
