Energiepension Schwaiger

The guesthouse works really well without a car: it’s only a 10-minute walk from the train stop, and the ski bus stops right beside it. It’s a great base for alpine or cross-country skiing. Our rooms were cozy, well furnished, and very clean. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and healthy, with little extras like home-baked goods and overnight oats. The host family were super helpful. After skiing, we could use the small attic sauna. In the evening, the breakfast room was available with a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher, handy for heating takeaway food or playing board games. We had a lovely family holiday in the region, in large part thanks to this guesthouse. I can’t think of anything missing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would, and we might come back next year.

The family were very kind and helpful, and gave me a card with discounts and free use of the lift and swimming pool during my stay. My room was clean, and breakfast had plenty of choice. I felt at home here and had a lovely time. Thank you so much.

The owner made us feel at home, which stood out most. We had four nights at Energiepension Schwaiger as a family of five, using two rooms. Everything looked meticulously cared for, from the rooms and shared kitchen to the garden and parking. Breakfast was good and varied, and we cooked supper in the shared kitchen, only needing to buy the food. There was an extra fridge with soft drinks, beer, and wine for sale. The selection was small but more than enough, and drinks were sold at cost, so they were cheap. There’s enough room for bikes in summer and probably ski gear in winter, though we rented bikes and didn’t use the storage. Parking was sufficient, either inside the lot or across the fence. An excellent choice for a stay in Leogang!

We’ll definitely come back. It’s our second visit, and the hosts are very friendly. The room is clean and spacious, and breakfast is tasty and 100% homemade with bio products. The location is very close to the bike park.
