Zieferhof

The Perwein family made us feel so welcome again, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year. This was our second visit, and we’re absolutely thrilled. It’s a wonderful farm, and you can take part in the work: go into the cowshed anytime, watch the farmers, and ask all the questions you like. They always gave us thorough answers. The delicious homemade breakfast products were a lovely finishing touch. Thank you so much!

The farm has a warm, family-like feel, and the price was unbeatable. We loved the farm’s own milk, and the organic pasta and yogurts were delicious. You can also order bread rolls for the next day, delivered fresh from the bakery early in the morning. The apartment had everything we needed, and when the weather was good, we could unwind outside on the benches or garden chairs while the kids swung, bounced on the trampoline, or visited the animals. We even got to help milk the cows. It’s a peaceful place to escape the everyday rush and enjoy nature. It’s also well placed for day trips, with Kaprun, Zell am See, Kitzbühel, other lakes, and the Großglockner all nearby. Whether you have children or not, you’re sure to love Zieferhof farm, run by the Perwein family. Everything was just right for the farm holiday we’d imagined. Five stars, and we’ll definitely be back!

There are only two guest apartments, which makes this farm especially peaceful for anyone looking for quiet. It isn’t specifically a children’s farm, but there are things for little ones to do, and a visit to the cowshed and calves is a must. The dairy, Mei Muich, has a small shop with farm products, plus a milk vending machine where you can buy them 24 hours a day. The calm here is remarkable.

The shop now takes card payments during opening hours, and there’s homemade ice cream as well. You can buy fresh milk and dairy items like yogurt and quark, along with regional goods such as smoked trout.
