The staff really made this little hotel for us. Everyone was welcoming, especially the people serving breakfast and dinner, and the meals changed each night with plenty of local dishes and ingredients. We picked it for easy access to the area, and the nearby attractions were only a short drive away. There’s a great view, too. After four nights we didn’t want to leave, and I’d happily recommend it for a summer trip.

The wellness area is a lovely place to unwind, with a good selection of teas, and the mountain views from there and some rooms are stunning. It’s set on a hill away from the busy main road. This is a family-run hotel of a comfortable size, clearly looked after with a lot of care. Half board is well worth considering, and there’s a good wine selection. Breakfast was very good, with different egg dishes made to order, fresh orange juice and lots of bread. I also liked that the buffet stayed open until 10, later than the 9:30 cut-off at many Austrian hotels. It’s nice to have a more relaxed morning on holiday. I only wish the sauna stayed open a little longer. Thanks to the team, we’d like to come back.

We left something emotionally important in our room after checkout, and reception mailed it back to us without hesitation. The dinner service was especially attentive throughout our stay, and the staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. We had a wonderful time here and recommend staying.

The service from every staff member was way above what you normally get. Breakfast and dinner were five-star. One of my top ten hotels.
