The room views are something else, with stars overhead and weather rolling in across the mountains. I’ve stayed here many times, most recently for two weeks in June and July this year, and it’s always wonderful. Ferdinand and Anna make everyone feel at home. Breakfast is terrific, especially with lattes from their Italian espresso machine, local cow butter and yogurt, and apricot jam from Anna’s mother. The sauna Ferdinand built looks like it belongs in a design magazine, and the view from it is incredible. There are plenty of hikes, local music, and festivals in the valley, and gin nights are a lot of fun.

The trails and scenery are a big part of what keeps me wanting to return. I’ve stayed twice and already can’t wait for another visit. Ferdinand and Anna pointed me toward hikes I wouldn’t have found on my own, and they make the place feel friendly with their kind, funny, welcoming manner. Their food is incredible, with the tiramisu among my favorites. Everything they cook feels carefully made and high quality. Great people, food, and nature to explore.

The mountain view was the first thing we saw each morning from our newly renovated room, which was cleaned daily. This was my second winter at the Lesachtalerhof, and we stayed six nights. Ferdinand and Anna were generous and attentive, greeting us warmly at breakfast and arranging a lovely gin tasting one evening. The location is scenic, with ski areas nearby for winter and hiking trails for summer. We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily recommend it. We’ll be back.

The local breakfast was delicious, and Ferdinand and Anna had lots of helpful suggestions for things to do. They were easy to communicate with and wonderful hosts. We also joined one of their gin nights, which was really fun, with tasty drinks made from gins from around the world. We loved staying at this lovely hotel and would recommend it to everyone.

The patio looks out over a breathtaking valley, and there’s a huge selection of gin thanks to Ferdinand. Ferdinand and Anna are fantastic hosts, and the food is phenomenal. Lesachtalerhof is a lovely place to stay if you’re in the area.
