The hot tub in the garden was the best part, especially with the snow around us. We also had an infrared cabin and a useful wine cellar where we could try high-quality wine. The cabin is lovely and thoughtfully furnished, with room for four. There are two double bedrooms, each with its own shower and toilet. Downstairs, one bedroom has a TV, and upstairs there's a living room with a couch and another TV. The kitchen has the essentials, including a stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine and capsules, plus plenty of dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. One small note: Eduscho capsules fall through and don't work in the machine. It made for a dream vacation and would suit a relaxing weekend or a few easygoing days. I'd happily recommend it.

A real treat if you enjoy the finer things. Each of the two double rooms has its own bathroom, so it works especially well for two couples. We found it fantastic for unwinding, and I'd highly recommend staying here.

The landscape is magnificent, and the country house sits somewhere wonderfully peaceful.
