Weingasthof Sabathihof

We felt welcome straight away, thanks to the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The cooking is excellent, with fresh regional ingredients handled with care, and the wine list shows off the variety and quality of Southern Styria. Set among the vineyards, Sabathihof Dillinger is a real find. A lovely choice for dinner, a break along the wine route, or a longer stay.

It's so peaceful here, tucked away from the wine route, with no traffic or motorcycles going by. I always enjoy coming back to this hotel and restaurant. The infinity pool looking out over the vineyards is a lovely place to unwind. The restaurant serves excellent food, prepared and presented with care. Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful stay.

We spent one night at the property. When we went to pay for wine we'd taken from the cellar ourselves, we got an unpleasant surprise: there was no price list, and the owner charged us the restaurant price of €26. We've never had this happen at another place we've stayed. No service had been provided, and we weren't given a receipt for the wine.

The pool was the standout, with a view across the vineyards that I'll remember for a long time. My wife and I stayed at Sabathihof for two nights. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well cared for, though we couldn't find Wi-Fi. The owner and staff were polite and accommodating. The food was good, but I'd give value for money 2 stars. The wines were excellent, and our introductory package included a case of 6. The area is a paradise for wine lovers.
