The beds were comfortable, and the shower had hot water and good pressure. The pillows could be better, and the hotel gym isn't useful. You can get a guest pass for the commercial gym next door at reception for 5 euros. There was a good buffet breakfast, with both hot and cold choices, and the location was good.

I booked this as a basic overnight stop between Prague and Vienna, so I wasn't expecting anything special, but it was a letdown. The building is old and poorly soundproofed. It also felt more like a franchised Radisson than one managed directly, since the hotel's system didn't seem properly synced with Radisson's official platform. I'm a Radisson VIP member and used points to reserve a room a month ahead. On arrival day, the reservation was suddenly canceled, and my points still haven't been returned. The front desk couldn't explain what happened, so I had to book again at the full daily rate, about one-third more than my original booking. At checkout today, I found that this replacement booking had also somehow been marked “canceled” in the system. As a result, I got no stay-night credits or records. Radisson Group needs to review how this property is managed. I'd strongly advise Radisson members to avoid it if possible.

I slept well and found the place very clean. The staff were great, and the hotel is right in the center. It does feel a bit worn down, though, and the decor and carpets need replacing.

You can't beat the location, and breakfast was great. We had to change rooms because the carpet in the first was so badly stained it put us off, and the chair needed cleaning too. The second room was better, though its carpet was stained as well, just not as badly. Front desk staff went out for group smoke breaks and left the desk unattended, which affected service.
