Chalet Prinzis

The mountain views from the terrace are magnificent, and the area around Lofer is beautiful without feeling as touristy as some other places. There’s lots to do nearby whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends or with family. Andrea is always available and accommodating, and happy to share excursion tips. The free tourist card includes entry to the mountain outdoor swimming pool and rides on the mountain cable car, among other things. Chalet Prinzis is a lovely, lovingly furnished home, superbly equipped by Andrea and her husband. They welcomed us with homemade mint syrup, and it’s only a short walk to the centre of Lofer. We’d gladly come back.

The covered patio has a magnificent view of the Loferer Steinberge, and the lift station for the Loferer Alm is close by. Rides were free with Andrea's Saalach Card. Neuwirt next door is excellent, and Cafe Dankl is only a short walk away. The ice cream there tastes just as delicious as it did 40 years ago. We felt at home straight away, had everything we needed, and found the kitchen superbly equipped. A wonderful holiday, and we’ll definitely return.

It’s quiet here, but only a five-minute walk to the village centre. The house is spacious, modern, very well kept and has everything a family could want. Our hosts were friendly and attentive, always available when needed. The Salzburg Saalachtal surroundings are beautiful, with countless outdoor activities in both summer and winter.

The natural setting and stunning view made this a lovely place to stay. The holiday home is beautifully built and lovingly looked after, and it was very clean. The landlords were great too. Respect for this wonderful home, and thanks for such a lovely few days!
