Ferienwohnung Sany

We traveled 400 km with our dog and child, expecting the ground-floor apartment with two separate bedrooms we’d booked from August 24, 2024. Check-in was set for 4:00 PM, but we arrived at 1:45 PM and asked if we could get in earlier. That’s when we were told there was mold in our Airbnb. They said it had appeared suddenly and the cleaning staff had only found it that day. We were offered another unit in the same building, a duplex with one bedroom, a sliding door, and a bed in the living room. Being on the top floor, the alternative felt cramped and hot. It was unclean, had water stains on the walls, smelled of smoke, and was anything but cozy. Someone had already complained about mold in the apartment we originally booked through Airbnb in August 2023, so this doesn’t seem like a new issue in the building. We won’t book through this agency again. We felt they weren’t honest with us. Addendum: The landlords just accused me of “simply being malicious.” That isn’t true.
