The owner Lisa and her hotel staff made me feel completely at home. They were warm, attentive and genuinely caring, and I was really impressed by the hospitality. My room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and varied, and the location was excellent. A wonderful hotel in every way, highly recommended! 👍👍👍🤗

The cable car is only a three-minute walk away, and we had a fantastic four days at Steinerwirt with my family. The rooms are very nice, the food is great and the staff are lovely. One of the best places where we’ve spent a holiday. We’ll certainly come back.

Lisa keeps everything running so efficiently, and it seems like anything is possible. We loved the breakfasts and the restaurant meals, especially over Christmas. The restaurant and bar have a great vibe, and the staff are friendly and fun. With beautiful, spacious, charming rooms, Der Steinerwirt really feels like a destination hotel. Lofer is a pretty little village, made even more special by having this hotel there. We’ll be back.

We had nine people on our production crew staying in Lofer for ten days, and Der Steinerwirt looked after us the whole trip. People on the crew ate and drank there every day because the food is very, very good. They really do become your friends in Lofer.
