The staff were especially helpful and friendly, ready with answers about the campsite as well as tips for sights nearby. That made everything feel easy and relaxed. Drau Camping Sachsenburg also has a welcoming, laid-back feel, with lots of Dutch families around in high season and a nice sense of community. Kids have room to play, meet other children, and settle in quickly. Some of the facilities look a little dated, as other reviews mention, but they’re very clean and well cared for. We preferred that to having newer buildings, and everything we needed was there. With the lovely setting and family-friendly atmosphere, we had a really enjoyable stay. We’d recommend Drau Camping Sachsenburg to anyone after a fun, relaxed holiday.

The shared room has a great view, table tennis, Foosball, German-language books, and a children's corner. The bathrooms were excellent, clean, and practical. This is a gorgeous place and a handy base for visiting the nearby town, church, and castle. At 9 EUR per person for a tent and car, it was quite cheap. Highly recommended.

Green, clean, and right by the river, with lovely cycling routes nearby. The campsite is wonderful, the sanitary facilities are very good, and dogs are welcome.
