Two people in our group ordered Wildschwein (wild boar), and the meat was basically inedible. We told two waiters, but all they said was that it can sometimes be tough. There was no apology or discount. Why serve a dish that can be impossible to eat? Not a good restaurant experience.

The roomier, smaller dining spaces are quieter and feel cozier than the main dining room, so I'd suggest booking one of those. My pick from the menu was the first dish, a delicious eastern chicken soup with different spices. This was probably the best restaurant I ate at on my trip to Austria. The food was delicious and the atmosphere cozy.

The food was phenomenal, and the whole place felt quiet and relaxing. Every staff member was polite and so nice. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but honestly, I had a better experience here. One of my favorite hotels I've stayed in.

I'm reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel. Our hotel host recommended it, and the busy dining room gave us a good first impression. The staff spoke very good English, and there was an English menu too. We chose the seasonal mushroom pasta. Everything tasted fresh and really good, with generous portions that felt worth the price. The terrace has a lovely view over farmland and the mountains. I'd highly recommend it if you're visiting Zell am See or the surrounding area.

Dinner at the restaurant was good, and the atmosphere was nice all around. Breakfast was good too. The location is very convenient, with Saalbach resort about 20 minutes away. The man at reception was really nice, helpful and informative. All the staff were kind and spoke English well. I'd recommend it.
