The hosts are very accommodating, and the house has a warm, welcoming feel with plenty of character. It dates from the 1970s, furniture included, but is impeccably maintained. Rooms are spacious, with a magnificent mountain view and a balcony. It’s blissfully quiet otherwise, though the house itself carries noise, so neighbors could make that an issue. Breakfast is simple and good, and dinner is much the same, with nothing especially distinctive. The price feels reasonable. Keep in mind that debit and credit cards aren’t accepted. I paid ahead by bank transfer, which worked fine.

It’s a real highlight: spotless, with excellent food, and you feel at home as soon as you walk in. It’s easy to settle in and relax here. There are also several leisure activities in the area, and it’s a great base for hikers or anyone wanting to unwind. We’ve booked again for September. Thumbs up!
