Hotel Gasthof Fischer

The only thing I liked was breakfast, though even then the spiders watching from the ceiling were hard to ignore. For what it costs, this was a huge disappointment and nowhere near worth the recommendation I got. The lobby initially looked like a high-class hotel, so I was looking forward to the room. I only dropped my bags off before going out until late, and when I returned I found spiderwebs in every corner. The bathroom glasses were filthy, and turning on the shower brought a bad smell. When I tried to complain that evening, reception had a note saying, “I’ll come back later, but you can check the restaurant.” Nobody there had time for a guest. I was also told the room wouldn't be cleaned because I was staying only two nights. Apparently that means it can just stay dirty.

The restaurant is a nice place to eat, with delicious food and friendly staff. The hotel itself was clean and pleasant.

The food was great, the service was excellent, and the location was convenient.

For my trip, the location worked well, and the rooms were very nice. There was plenty of food and drink, and it was worth staying a day or two.
