Haus Stablerkrämer

We couldn't stay overnight for personal reasons. We'd booked through booking.com, and unfortunately the cancellation protection had expired the day before. I contacted Ms. Mosshammer directly, explained what had happened, and asked if we could find a fair solution. I offered to pay part of the room rate for that one night or move the stay to a future date. Ms. Mosshammer refused straight away, saying the money was already hers because the credit card had been charged and that she wouldn't accommodate us. When I asked again whether there was any way to work something out, she ended the call and hung up. I find that very sad. This was about one night's stay, and I'm sure we could have reached an agreement if she had wanted to. Now we don't want to do anything else there in the future either.

The hostess was very welcoming and shared lots of information about the neighborhood. We had a top-notch stay in this lovely, spacious apartment on the village street. It gets busy during the day and quieter in the evening. The beds were comfortable, and the spacious balcony had good chairs. The location is great, opposite a bakery and restaurants on the village street, and it's an excellent base for day trips and walks. Jelle Post, June 12-15, 2019

Mrs. Moßhammer made our stay especially memorable with her warm, friendly welcome. We spent a few days skiing near the end of the 2018 season and stayed in a holiday apartment at Stablerkrämer, booked through booking.com. It was exceptionally clean and fully furnished. The location is very central, with the Dorfjet lift, bakery, supermarket, and restaurants all a short walk away, so we left the car in the private parking lot.

Elizabeth, the owner, was welcoming and helpful. The apartment was comfortable, lovely, and clean, and Maria Alm is a pleasant village close to Zell am See.
