The dining room has a beautiful view, and the food was a highlight for us. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, and we were always happy with our meals. We’ve stayed at Hotel zum Granitzl twice now, and Sandra and Peter are wonderful hosts. The rooms are spotless and have that traditional yet modern feel I love. There’s a ski room and a wellness area, with several ski resorts less than 30 minutes away. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area.

There’s a natural pool and an in-house spa, with magnificent mountains all around. The nightly price also covers breakfast, afternoon cake and coffee, and a four-course dinner, along with a cozy room. This beautiful B&B sits in the hills above Mariapfarr. The Lerchner family has owned the house for over 200 years and made it a full-service bed and breakfast around 1950. It’s grown into a quaint mix of old and modern.

The cooking is fantastic, and the spa feels modern and comfortable. I’ve been coming here regularly for 29 years, and Lungau feels like home. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are great. A place I’d recommend.
