Ulnhof

That Lungaucard you get when booking is a great deal for families. It covers free entry to things like ski lifts, outdoor pools, adventure parks and castles, plus other discounts, so you can save quite a bit. The farm itself was a lovely place for a holiday. The kids could roam around and play with the hosts' children, which gave us some time to unwind. The hosts were easy to reach whenever we had questions or requests. We’ll definitely be back to Ulnhof Farm. Highly recommended.

We’ve stayed at quite a few farms and always been comfortable, but never had a family make us feel this welcome. The apartment was fantastic, and the family were incredibly warm and hospitable. It’s a beautiful farm with lots of animals, and very child-friendly.

The balcony at the "Fanningbergblick" apartment was hard to enjoy, with construction noise and a manure pile from the neighboring farm only 4 meters away. We managed to rescue the holiday by changing plans in time and going to the Perhinig farm (Hohenthurm, Carinthia), where the children got to see "their" animals. What upset us most was that no one told us in advance about the major barn renovation or that almost all the animals had been moved temporarily. If the Bogensberger family had let us know in good time, we could have avoided the disappointment, and the B. family could have avoided this poor review. The horses were still there, but the children couldn’t ride because Mr. B. was busy helping with the renovation all day. At first our children visited the B. family's children's rabbits, but soon a note appeared, apparently put up by the B. family's children, saying they couldn’t feed or touch them. They were even more disappointed after that. The apartment itself and the smaller toys in the shed were in poor condition. It felt like everything else had been put aside for the barn work and caring for Mrs. B.'s newborn. I understand those priorities, but timely communication could have prevented this whole problem. If the promises can’t be met, it would be better not to rent out the apartment.

Tastefully furnished and practical, the holiday apartment was really nice. A great combination overall. We’ll come back.
