We ducked in for a bite on a rainy evening, and the owner welcomed us warmly and shared lots of tips about the area. While we waited for the rain to pass, he even went out of his way to make us Campari spritzes. The atmosphere was cozy, with sheepskins, and the food was tasty.

A beer and apple pie were just the thing mid-hike. The service was super friendly, and we left pretty gosh darn happy. I’d recommend stopping for a cheeky pint along the way.

After hiking up top past spectacular waterfalls at 1600 meters, a cool beer and tasty local food really hit the spot. The glacier view is amazing, and the owner is very friendly.

There are nice hiking opportunities, and the landscape is beautiful. The food and wine were very tasty, the beers were good, and we got a warm welcome. The room wasn’t very clean or well equipped. The bathroom and toilets are shared, and the comfort level is that of a mountain hut. It’s 2 km away if you have a car.

We’ve returned every time we’ve been to Austria, thanks to the amazing service and great food. After lunch, the owner’s son David shared some great wildlife information and had fun playing soccer with our son.
