Breakfast was delicious and generous, and I slept well on the comfortable mattress. My room was spotless, with a newly renovated bathroom, and the view across the valley took in all of Matrei. The Wi-Fi was a little unreliable. I also wish there'd been a shower curtain, since water ended up all over the bathroom floor, and the curtains let in the morning sun as soon as it came up.

There was hair and staining on the beds, and mold throughout the bathroom. The whole place reeked of smoke and mold. It needs a complete renovation and should be shut down. Absolutely awful, don't stay here!

The staff were wonderful, the food was lovely, and our room had great views. When one of our motorcycles needed repairs, Massimo the manager went out of his way to help us find parts in a nearby town. Fantastic service from everyone, and what a great cook.

The staff were friendly, and the place was clean, though rather rickety. The mattresses were poor. I wouldn't eat at the restaurant: there isn't much choice, prices are high, portions are tiny, and the food quality is poor.

There was no soap for a shower and no toilet paper holder in the bathroom, and the food wasn't very good. The receptionist wasn't particularly friendly either. We came down for breakfast at 7:15, but when he saw us, he sent us back to bed because breakfast wasn't until 7:30.
