Ferienwelt Bogensperger

The hotel and its staff are great. We spent a winter week here, with Obertauern and Speierbeck close by, and the bus stop just 200 metres away. There are little roads for walks beside the hotel, along with a lovely river. The sauna was open three times a week. It would be nice if it were open every day.

There’s a lovely garden with a grill and swimming pool, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Mrs. Stefanie takes care of things and is a real magic lady :-) Bogensperger ferienwohnung is in beautiful Lungau, a great place for bike trips, nording walking and lots of other activities with the Lungau card. Truly recommendable.

The garden and pool at the holiday complex are beautifully kept, and the apartments are cozy, well equipped and, above all, clean. The Bogensperger family gave us such a warm welcome and were always happy to help with questions or requests. Our dogs even got tasty snacks, and there was always time for a quick chat. Their house cat, Bärli, kept us company during the holiday too :-) We had a wonderful time and will be back.

The menu is worth the extra 50 euros if you’re after a rare, special meal. The quality, taste, presentation and especially attentive service make it worth every cent. The Stub'n is a small, cozy dining room with just four tables, and the chef puts a lot of care into freshly prepared dishes made with a range of high-quality ingredients. The sommelier, service staff and kitchen crew are often only a little outnumbered by the guests. If you’re comparing the price to an ordinary cheese dumpling, even a good one, you’re using the wrong yardstick for this kind of finesse. And even if you know your way around the wine list, let the excellent sommelier surprise you with a recommendation.
