The restaurant was a real treat for a vegetarian. I found a great breakfast selection and, unlike at many places, had a proper dinner too. The food came in generous portions, and the staff were kind and hardworking. The boss lady especially made sure everything was to my liking. I slept peacefully even though the hotel was full. My room at Matzelsdorfer Hof was modern and comfortable, with a lovely balcony view of the mountains and church. I also really liked the soft carpet and the table with its comfy chairs. I had a great stay and would definitely return. I recommend it to anyone trekking the Alpe-Adria trail.

There are lovely walking trails close by, and from the hotel you can see the lake, mountains, and a charming little church. It's tucked into a very quiet, peaceful spot at the foot of a mountain. Our host was so attentive and caring that we felt genuinely welcome. The homemade food was absolutely delicious.

We stumbled on this place by chance, a little way up from the lake, and what a nice surprise. The staff were so friendly, and the food was delicious. The pistachio roll was the best part. Definitely worth stopping in for dinner.

We had a great time here. It's a lovely family-run place, and the owner welcomed us as if we were at her own home. We also got some tips about the bar by the lake in Millstat. The typical Austrian food was great, and it's a nice spot to stay as well as eat.
