The room had an amazing view over the area, and there was plenty of local Austrian food to choose from. Everyone was super friendly. When we arrived, we got guest cards for activities such as going to the beach at the lake, which saved us a lot of money.

This is a luxurious hotel, maybe a bit too much for a couple of travelers who only want somewhere for bed and breakfast. There was no Wi-Fi, kettle for coffee, or fridge. The breakfast was very good, though please note it only starts at 8 am.

The food was outstanding, prepared with care and great attention to flavor and detail. You can feel how much the family and team value personal service and genuine warmth. Christina and everyone welcomed us so warmly, and each room has that same personal touch. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and carefully thought through. Waking up to the view of Lake Millstatt and the surrounding mountains was pure relaxation. We felt truly welcome, not just like guests.
