The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the guesthouse is an easy walk from town for boat rentals, groceries and plenty of restaurants. Across the road, there's a private lake entrance for swimming or paddle boarding, with a small grassy area. A nockmobil stop at the foot of the guesthouse makes it easy to reach mountain trailheads for hiking or cycling without a car. Our bright, clean room had a lake view and a large balcony, so we could take in the whole lake. Breakfast was fresh and there was plenty to choose from. It was served on the terrace overlooking the garden and lake.

The view while having breakfast is great, and the breakfast itself has a good range of options. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the accommodation was very nice. There was a little noise from other guests in the room, though that wasn't the hotel's fault.

We had easy access to the water from the private beach area. The rooms were bright and clean, looking out over the beautifully landscaped gardens and Millstattersee. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was impeccable.
