Turnerhof was a wonderful place for us to stay. The hosts were welcoming and helpful the whole time, and the rooms were very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Little kids will love it here: there’s a playground, and they can even feed the lambs in the evening. Breakfast had a nice selection. We’d love to return.

Everyone was so friendly, the location was superb, and it was completely peaceful, just right for unwinding. Breakfast was generous and the homemade yogurt was delicious. I only missed having tomato, cucumber, or fruit.

We had the top-floor apartment for our three-night, four-day stay, and it really did feel like being in a lookout tower. The view from Turnerhof is incredible, especially from the balcony after a long hike, with a glass or two of wine and Lake Millstatt in front of you. The farm is reached by a somewhat daunting driveway, but don't let that put you off. You do get to Turnerhof, and the road is the local council's responsibility. Parking is limited, though after talking it over with the hosts, it wasn't a real issue and seemed thoughtfully arranged for the hillside. A lively dog greets you. Cars have apparently given him some bad experiences, but he happily let our children rub his belly. We highly recommend the place and would love to return. Thanks for a lovely stay!

That view of the lake and Alps from the balcony was breathtaking. We stayed at Turnerhof for ten days, and the welcome was so warm that we felt at home from the very beginning. It was a wonderful holiday, and we'd happily come back 😊
