The apartment was spacious and clean, with beautiful mountain views from every window. It’s very close to the ski lift, and I imagine it must be just as lovely in summer. Gannie was kind, dependable, and helpful with every request. Great service, and thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

We didn’t need to drive anywhere all week, since everything was within walking distance. There are lots of trails nearby at different difficulty levels. Thanks for a great week. We’ll be back in January to enjoy ski-in-ski-out.

Gannie is a warm and welcoming host. The apartment was clean, lovely, and very well equipped, with a fantastic mountain view. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the center of Hirschegg, the Heuberg chairlift, and the bus stop.

The garden was a great place to relax after a hike, with deck chairs available, and we could join the hosts for a cold drink. Fresh eggs from their own chickens were provided for breakfast. We stayed in apartment 11, which had separate bedrooms and worked well for our family. The apartments were spotless and had everything we needed. We booked two weeks at Gondamaika and came as a family with our dog. The hosts welcomed us warmly, along with their dog NABU. The Walser house is charming and full of history, and the mountain views are magnificent. It’s peaceful up there, yet Hirschegg is only a 10-minute walk away, with buses in all directions and the option to stop for a relaxed coffee. You can leave the car parked, though a decent level of fitness helps for the walk up to the apartment. Take the steep driveway warning seriously, especially if you have a car with a bike rack. It really is steep. Once you’ve made it up, your mountain holiday begins. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly book again.
