Definitely recommend it. Everyone was very friendly.

The Beck family’s "Schlössle" in Dornach made a great base for our week. Though it sits above the Walserstrasse road, you can’t hear the traffic at all. From the house there’s a stunning westward view towards Hörnlepass, the Ifen mountain, and the other peaks. We parked safely in the underground garage, then took the elevator straight to our apartment door. We also loved being able to enter the "Veilchen" apartment directly from the terrace. The apartment has everything we needed, and the owners are friendly, helpful, and ready to listen. They deliver bread, and you can buy drinks from the cellar on an honor system at very reasonable prices. The "Schwand" bus stop is about five minutes away on foot. With the AllgäuWalserPass, bus travel throughout the Kleinwalsertal valley is free, so we left the car parked. We’d highly recommend the 30 minute hike to the family’s own "Bergstüble" mountain inn for a refreshment stop. We wholeheartedly recommend the "Schlössle." Five stars. The apartment itself was great, with a beautiful view, but the Wi-Fi was terrible. We asked three times what was wrong, and the hostess couldn’t help, so the service was a letdown. There was no explanation about things like the spa. Luckily the weather was lovely. It was also noisy. Some people let their kids play in the hallway at 6:30 in the morning, and while the hostess couldn’t do anything about that, it still disturbed us. We were disappointed, though Kleinwalsertal is so beautiful.

For the second year running, we stayed seven nights in this lovely apartment complex, starting Saturday, February 10, 2024. There were two adults and our 10 year old daughter in room Arnika. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, and the owner was very friendly. Fresh bread arrived at our door each morning at around 7:15. Bus line 1 at Schwand was a five minute walk away. We think it’s a fantastic place, a solid 9 out of 10!
