Such a sweet little place to unwind, whether you're there for skiing or hiking.

Baad is an idyllic village, and the apartment was very clean during our four-day stay. The young man was friendly, and breakfast was generous. The rolls were pre-baked, though, so maybe they could switch to fresh ones. We also only got the Walser Card for bus travel, not for the mountain lifts.

The rooms were nice and had modern showers, but that's the only good thing I can say. We spent a long weekend there with friends and wouldn't recommend the guesthouse. The landlady was very unfriendly, and the price felt excessive. Although we specified train travel when booking, the WalserCard wasn't included. The staff were harsh and bossy too. We were wearing clean sandals as slippers and were rudely told that this kind of footwear was “forbidden.” Breakfast was dull and unimaginative, with nothing fresh like a slice of tomato or cucumber. We didn't even get to say goodbye. The landlady never appeared again. A definite no-go!

The whole house smelled of cigarette smoke, and the woman was very unfriendly. When we were leaving, she threatened to call the police because we didn't have enough cash and accused us of still having a key. I left my family there while I went to get cash, and she insulted my wife and children, saying we'd made everything so dirty. We stayed for a long weekend, and I can't recommend this place. Maybe there's a new owner, or maybe something else has happened. I'd give zero stars if I could.
