The mountain view from the outdoor tables was gorgeous. We all enjoyed the meal, too: the portions were filling, and everything tasted fresh. Two of us ordered venison with fried potatoes and beef goulash, while the other two had grilled cheese with salad and cheesy stuffed potatoes on salad. The waiter was welcoming and spoke very good English. We finished with cappuccinos and fresh milk, which my son called the best milk he'd ever tasted.

The host was so warm and welcoming, and the food was freshly made and excellent. We only stopped in for lunch, but the building and its friendly, high-quality feel made such an impression that I've added this place to my list of places to stay.

The lunch was delicious, and the serving was pretty generous. There were quite a lot of flies around us the whole time, though.

We originally came in for a drink and a few snacks, but ended up staying for dinner. The host was friendly, spoke excellent English, and suggested a wine we absolutely loved. The food was fresh and delicious, and the views were beautiful. Definitely recommend Gastof Hohe Brucke.

The balcony had a wonderful view of the clouds and mountains, and the new apartment was clean and had all the essentials. I was glad I stayed with this family for three nights. They were the best family I met in Austria, truly respectful, hospitable, friendly, and generous.
