Apartment Bauernhof Thurnummerstall

We came back for a second visit because we love the quiet and solitude here. The first time was in September, with some snow around; this time in April, the meadows had spring flowers and there was still snow higher up after ski season. There’s plenty to see and do nearby, and lots of walks for different abilities. The farmhouse is a lovely, typical Alpine place, set high below the pass between Kitzbuehl and Mittersill. From there you look over the valley, flower-filled fields, and snow-capped peaks. The house and location are amazing, and Monica welcomes you warmly and helps as much as you need. We’ll definitely be back.

Our son had such a good time collecting eggs from the henhouse for breakfast and getting a tractor ride. The organic farm has a lovely atmosphere, the host family are very friendly, and the mountain view from our room was breathtaking. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we'd love to return.

After spending our holidays nearby for 50 years, we left home five years ago with mixed feelings about trying somewhere new. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly, even though we were strangers. The days that followed were full of hospitality, and the alpine breakfast was delicious. We felt completely at ease and lacked nothing. It feels like our old holidays have simply continued. The apartments are clean, well equipped, and worth the price. They're also a great base for hikes and trips both nearby and further away. Top marks, and thank you for everything. These words come from the heart, from two people from the Palatinate who love the Pinzgau region.

Fresh rolls and eggs can be brought in for breakfast if you ask. The apartment is lovely and quiet, and the hosts are so open and kind. They’re always up for a chat and even a little drink to soothe a sore throat ;) It was our second stay, and we always feel welcome here.
