The shared kitchen downstairs is enormous and has everything: spices, electric stove, dishwasher, huge sink, fridge, kettle, pots and pans in all sizes, spoons, and forks. Our room was so cozy it felt like home. We enjoyed every second and would come back if we get the chance. The owners were really friendly, and we got along just fine speaking English and a little German. Even the drive up has views like a painting. The price, view, accommodation, and quiet are unbeatable. They take card payments up front, check-in took literally five minutes, and what you see is what you get. If you have a car, it's well placed for visiting all kinds of places near Salzburg. You could see every lake in a day, though you'd hardly want to spend so little time in such a beautiful area. There are endless nature reserves, trails, and gorges to explore, and don't miss the waterfalls! Bring food containers, cooking oil, towels, soap, shower gel, and slippers. We'd love to return.

We used this scenic spot as a base for a couple of days, coming back after trips to places like st Wolfgang. The views are beautiful, the place is clean and cosy, and the owner is friendly and quick to reply to emails. The prices feel fair for the accommodation. We paid upfront without any issues. We were always on the move, so we didn't have breakfast there and can't rate it, though I'm sure it was delicious.

The balcony view is amazing, and my friend and I really enjoyed our stay. It's more of a family hotel than a typical hotel. The bathroom is separate and shared, but for the price it was a good choice. We stayed just over one night and arrived quite late, which the owners didn't mind.

I was travelling through and stayed one night. The room was simple, decorated like a mountain cabin, and felt perfect for an off-the-grid stay. The lake view was spectacular, and the price was fair, lower than most places in this expensive area. The lady who owns the place was extremely friendly and generous. I arrived late at night in the fog, and she waited for me. When I left at 6:30 in the morning, I took a picture of the chapel in the garden.
