Gertrude had excellent suggestions for restaurants and places to see, including the Mönchhof Village Museum and the Csarda Inn, both of which I’d recommend. The apartment was great, the landlady lovely, and the setting quiet. We stayed at the end of October 2025, and everything was just right. We’ll definitely book again. Greetings from the Mostviertel region.

We had lots of room, and the rooms were furnished very nicely. There were mosquito screens on every window, which was a nice touch. Gertrude made us feel at home with her warmth and helpfulness, and the booking process was just as friendly, with all our questions answered. Thanks to her help, we even got to see West Side Story at the lakeside stage. We’d gladly stay at Pension Freiler again. Thank you, Gertrude, for such a welcoming stay. We hope to see you again. We were five people at the Freiler apartment building in June 2021 and had a really good stay, with plenty of room for all of us. On arrival, the landlady welcomed us with local wine and a delicious homemade cake. The apartment had a modern feel and was equipped with everything we needed, including kitchen appliances and utensils and air conditioning. The owners were very hospitable, and we highly recommend the place.

Apartment 3 was enormous, with two bedrooms, a huge living room, and even a little room up in the attic. There were two well-equipped kitchens, plus a barbecue and wood-burning stove. A playground is right next door. The location is lovely, close to the center and beach. It’s a great option, especially at such reasonable prices.

The hosts were very friendly, and the house and apartment are beautiful and well equipped. Kids will love the great playground. Highly recommend!
