I spent six weeks in the Garden Apartment, which had everything I needed to feel at peace while staying connected to the world: good WiFi, refreshing air conditioning, a beautiful garden, fields to wander through, and lovely vineyards to explore. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh eggs and fruit and vegetables grown in the garden. They’re pet friendly, too. Their precious senior dog, Amy, gives you a noble welcome when you enter her home. Renate and her daughter and son look after the hotel every day with so much love. Renate feels just like your grandmother, hardworking and caring, with an eye for detail. I travel for work and regularly stay in hotels and AirBnB’s, but I’ve never found such a beautiful, peaceful home away from home. They also help with practical things like laundry and can give you a ride to the local grocery store. Treat yourself to this lovely oasis on your next trip to the lake, opera, bicycle trip, winery tour, musical, or whatever else brings you to Burgenland!

There’s a place to park bicycles and the breakfast is pleasant. It’s a small, established Austrian family hotel with a panoramic view of Lake Fertő.

The quiet was incredible, and I slept so well in the really comfortable bed. Our room was small but spotless, with a balcony looking out over the lake. It’s a lovely little hotel, and the hostesses were so friendly. Breakfast was generous and adapted to the coronavirus situation. There’s also a guest fridge stocked with regional wines, and each morning there were events on the breakfast table. A great choice if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

Lake Neusiedl is in full view from this lovely guesthouse. The family were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Our room was clean every day and comfortably furnished, and breakfast was plentiful, hygienically prepared, and had everything we could want. We’d definitely recommend staying here. Excellent place 😁😄👍👍

It’s peaceful here on the edge of Mörbisch, about a 10-minute walk from the center. This privately run guesthouse has a friendly feel, clean air-conditioned rooms, and balconies in most of them. Breakfast is plentiful and good. Highly recommended.
