Weingut Sommerhof

We booked a night on the spur of the moment, and the whole stay went smoothly. The garden was gorgeous, breakfast plentiful, and the hosts incredibly warm. The rooms have a lovely rustic character that fits the area perfectly. We ended up buying some of their own wine before leaving. A wonderful stay from start to finish.

I slept very well during my five nights in a single room with breakfast. The hosts were friendly and discreet, and breakfast was plentiful, especially the rye bread. My room and bathroom were well arranged, spotless, and cleaned every day. The €42 nightly rate seemed fair, and the email inquiry I sent was answered quickly. Set on a quiet side street about 400 meters from the town center, the location worked well. There's a large covered place to store bicycles and a refrigerator guests can use. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Sommerhof Winery for a quiet, pleasant vacation in Mörbisch am See. 👍

The Sommer family are fantastic, and the wine is great. There's plenty to do here, and I'd say having a bicycle is a good idea. The events at the lakeside stage are wonderful too. It's a dream of a place.

Comparisons keep confirming just how good their fruity white and red wines are. The wine tasting was informative and well run, and the rooms were beautiful and quiet. Breakfast buffet was good, and the family were lovely.
