Everything we needed was close by, since the hotel is right in the center of the village. We were there as a family of four for a ski trip, and the handy ski room was a plus. The room was clean and comfortable, and the friendly service and family feel made the stay welcoming. Breakfast was very nice, dinner at the restaurant was great, and the hotel keeps its standards high.

After our mountain hike, we stopped in for lunch. We chose from the daily menu, and everything was delicious and just right.

We paid a lot for what we got. The menu shown here, from a year earlier, wasn't valid in summer 2025, and the choices were very limited. Allergens weren't listed at all. I asked for something without eggs or milk, but the meat arrived with cream on it. I only noticed after the first bite, and then had to explain that cream contains milk. We agreed on plain meat with fries and vegetables, but the vegetables never came.

We all slept well on the soft but comfortable mattresses. The soap smelled fresh and nice, too. At breakfast there were freshly baked buns, lots of cheeses and hams, and little jars of granola mixes. Delicious, and the coffee was roasted just right. The staff were warm, smiling, kind, and polite. They went out of their way to help us avoid a parking ticket in the morning, which saved our happy family trip and showed how caring people at this hotel are.
