We were in the Hochkonig area for a hiking trip, and this was a great central base. Reinhard and Team were amazing, going out of their way to help with anything. The modern, spacious rooms were very clean, and breakfast was beautifully presented for this kind of accommodation. It’s a short walk into town and to the stop for the free “hikers bus,” which takes you where you need to go. Highly recommended.

The breakfast is the big reason to stay here. I've never seen one put together with so much passion, you really have to experience it for yourself. The rooms are downstairs, new, and very clean. The hosts ask guests not to wear street shoes in the rooms, which I really liked. The owner is kind and helpful, with plenty of suggestions for things to do nearby. This cozy little Bed & Breakfast sits a bit off the main road. Restaurants are about a five-minute walk away, so keep that in mind. And if you see my breakfast photos, the furniture is from the main house upstairs, the rooms are much more modern.

The breakfast was especially delicious, and we loved the place. It’s quiet but still central, very clean, and the hosts are helpful and accommodating. We had a fantastic ski holiday and would gladly return, maybe in summer next time.

The accommodation is well maintained, comfortably furnished, and in a beautiful spot that works for relaxing or heading out to explore the region. We stayed six nights and were completely happy with our stay. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and always had useful tips for excursions. Breakfast each day was varied, high quality, and prepared with lovely attention to detail. A real insider tip for a quiet, relaxing stay in Mühlbach am Hochkönig. We’ll definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend it.
