Haus Schneeberg

The apartment was really comfortable, with good mattresses, pillows, and linens, plus a well-equipped kitchen and a spotless bathroom. We also appreciated the Hochkonig card. Haus Schneeberg is handy for the supermarket, bakery, and bus stop, and Allison and Jerome can bring you a bread basket. They were friendly and very helpful throughout. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Tobogganing on our snow day was a blast, and it's become our new favorite snow sport. We had a great time staying at Alison and Jerome's place for our return to winter sports. The restaurants in the village are fab, and there's a good supermarket and bakery. We even got our skis serviced for a really good price when we arrived. You can ski almost to the door, and the ski bus is close by, so getting around in ski boots was easy. The location also makes it simple to explore the wider Ski Amade area and its range of skiing. We'll be back!

The place was really nice and clean, and we found the bed and sofa bed very comfortable. Alison welcomed us warmly, shared the information we needed, and gave us a few tips. The kitchen had everything for cooking, though the thick wooden spatula wasn't great for flipping things. The house is ideally placed, with a supermarket and bus station practically outside.

The ski area is huge, with amazing views and the best slope-side food I've had anywhere, and we've skied a lot. We never had to queue for a lift, either. Our children learned at a nearby small resort for a few days, then spent four days at the main resort, where they had plenty to practice on. We also skied the area without them. The accommodation worked perfectly for our family, with generously sized beds that suited our tall family, lovely clean bathrooms, and a great shower. The kitchen had what we needed, including a two-ring hob, fridge freezer, and sink, so we cooked a few meals. Booking, arrival, and checkout were all easy. It's a great place to stay and ski. We've already booked for next year and look forward to taking the kids on some red runs.
