We could keep our e-bikes safely in a spacious garage nearby and charge them there. Cash and debit cards are accepted, but not credit cards. This is a family-run hotel right in the center of Nauders, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Our room was spacious and old-fashioned, with a balcony facing the public parking area. In hot weather, ask for a different room, because with the window open you hear all the street noise, and there’s no air conditioning. The bathroom and toilet were nicely renovated, with a great shower. The breakfast room is modern and nicely furnished. The owner has a peculiar sense of humor and keeps an eye on the dining room to make sure everyone gets their share. He responds when you ask him to refill the serving trays. Unfortunately, there’s no choice of sweet pastries, only savory options. It’s a local landmark. See you!

We enjoyed our stay at this excellent place, run by a nice family. Here’s a funny little contrast: after breakfast we chatted with Guy, the lovely French co-founder, who took the time to tell us a bit about the family and the hotel’s story. We finished our small talk around 10:00 in the morning. On our way back to the room, a woman told us checkout was until 10 and that our room was last on the cleaning list. A funny mix of French slow living and Austrian “deutsche Ordnung”.

Breakfast was really good, and the view from the very clean room was spectacular. The hosts were wonderful, especially the charming host and his wife who prepared breakfast. We’ll be back!

There’s a garage for motorbikes, which is handy. The staff were kind, and the place for breakfast was beautiful. The rooms have a typical Austrian feel.
