Apartment in Neukirchen by Wildkogel Lift

The spa area is relaxing and impressive, with lovely mountain views. The apartments are modern and very clean, and the staff are really friendly. It’s a fantastic spot in both summer and winter, right beside the gondola and a small lake, with plenty of nice walks and hikes nearby.

We could ski every day, even with the warm weather, because the Wildkogel Arena pistes were in really good shape and well managed. We had a great stay: the apartments were lovely, the location was ideal, and the restaurant was very good.

At Wildkogel Resort in Neukirchen, everything for snowboarding was close at hand. The rental and storage service on site meant we didn’t have to think about a car or transporting our gear. We also had delicious food at the restaurant, where the service was outstanding. My family and I had an unforgettable holiday. A top-notch resort! 🏂

It’s a very beautiful place to stay, but I’m really disappointed. The heating in our room wasn’t working. I reported it and was told that it was summer for them, so there was nothing they could do. Then I was told it would take three days to turn on. The bathroom heater was switched on and off remotely by management, even after we begged them to leave it on. They’d turn it on for a few minutes in the morning and evening, then decide for themselves that we had enough heat for the day. We booked an apartment with two bathrooms. I found a dirty diaper in one of them, and when I reported it, the man at reception acted surprised and didn’t even offer to send someone to clean it. We were also told breakfast was fully booked. We couldn’t even order food to the room because they said the restaurant was small and couldn’t handle too many people. The parking spot was very difficult to use. A wall was right next to our car, and a minibus was parked on the other side, so we had to keep maneuvering diagonally just to unload our groceries. We tried calling many times, but they kept hanging up. One girl answered and laughed, trying to lighten the mood, but then they hung up on me again. When we went to complain about all these issues, they acted as if they didn’t understand or speak English at all, even though they’d spoken it fluently at check-in. The man also told us there was a fire, said he couldn’t help, and ran off!
