We had good food and good service.

We came across this place by chance through a camping app while travelling in our campervan, and stopped for dinner. The meal was very good, and the setting is stunning. The owners made us feel very welcome and were friendly. We'll come back next time we're in the area.

At Gasthof Friedburg, the rooms are clean and rustic, just right for the area, with a breathtaking view. It's incredibly quiet, so relaxing was easy. We were warmly welcomed by the landlady, Mrs. Unterrassner, and Toni, the senior owner, and his son Norbert were attentive, checking in to make sure we were all right. Dinner was a treat, with plenty of choice and special requests handled promptly. The two houses are well worth recommending. We plan to return when summer weather comes back.

The place sits on a hilltop at the edge of the mountains. We had very nice rooms, friendly service and very good food.
