I’d only choose this place for a seminar if there were no other options. The staff came across as harsh and unwelcoming, and seemed stressed despite the hotel not being full. My room was cramped, with a mattress so soft I nearly sank into it. The TV was smaller than my laptop, so I watched Netflix on my laptop instead. The spa looks worn and dated, with rust in nearly every area. The food was awful. There were no vegetarian choices at the buffet, which had very few options anyway, and everything was oily or baked and tasted bad. The salads were a disgrace too, the vegetables tasted days old rather than fresh. The waiters were rude and told me not to order from the menu because the chefs were already too busy. I won’t spend time here again.

The food was the biggest letdown for us. With two children along, eating there wasn’t a pleasant experience, and neither my wife nor I liked the food. We stayed two nights as a family, and the negative atmosphere was there from the moment we arrived. When my wife went to check the room, the receptionist decided to move us into a smaller one, explaining that we weren’t the right number of people. What a joke of a hotel. 😡

Getting to the lake was easy, just a short walk away, and the rooms were fantastic. We also loved the restaurant food. The staff made us feel welcome and were professional. It’s a family run hotel, probably one of the best. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return. 10/10 👍🏼

Our flight was cancelled, so my colleagues and I spent one night here, at a hotel provided by Austrian airlines. We arrived around 8-8:30pm, after dinner had finished, and had to look for food nearby. Almost everything was closed. We needed to catch an early bus to the airport the next morning. The hotel knew about the buses, and we came down for breakfast about 15 minutes early. Everything looked ready and the door was open, but a man came over and told us to leave. We tried to explain, but he didn’t care, so we left our dishes and went. This was a year ago. At first I didn’t think it was worth reviewing since I hadn’t chosen the hotel, but as someone who reads reviews, I can’t recommend it. If something unexpected means you have to leave early, you may be left hungry because they stick to their schedule until the last minute.
