The modern, well-kept building on Feldgasse is in a quiet residential area, just a few steps from the town center. Good restaurants and cozy wine taverns are within walking distance. We found the elevator useful for our luggage, and the drinks fridge on the ground floor was well stocked. We also happily used the morning bakery delivery. Our apartment, Clemens, was on the second floor, modernly furnished, very well maintained, and extremely clean. Interim cleaning is offered for longer stays. Its separate side entrance gave us a nice sense of privacy. Inside, there was everything we needed: a living room with a comfortable sofa and TV, a well-designed kitchenette and dining area, a bedroom with comfortable beds and a roomy enough wardrobe, plus a TV, and a modern shower room. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The large furnished balcony could be shaded easily. We were there during a heat wave, but the underfloor heating kept the apartment pleasantly cool. Our dog was welcome too. From booking to departure, the service was complete. The friendly hosts answered all our questions and shared plenty of useful tips for shopping, restaurants, wine tastings, excursions, and more. They also reminded us several times about free offers included with the Burgenland Card that we might otherwise have missed. Highly recommended!
