This place feels like heaven on earth. It's peaceful, with cowbells and the nearby stream as the only sounds. For anyone who loves nature, there are almost endless walks and hikes starting right at the door, from the Ruetz stream cascades and Wild Water Trail to the many 'Alm Wanderungs', then up to high peaks above the Stubaier Glacier and in the surrounding valleys. The house is cozy and clean, with everything needed for a great stay. It combines tradition with modern facilities, and the house keeper is simply the best. We've been several times and will come again. We just love it here.

Donneralm is a lovely old, original house in a beautiful setting, just a few kilometers from Stubai Glacier. We could enjoy every moment surrounded by gorgeous views. The owners are lovely people, and they keep everything clean, tidy and cozy. We had a wonderful stay.

What a view! You can see it beautifully from every window and angle. The apartments are furnished so nicely, blending modern touches with a quaint, traditional feel. The downstairs apartment even has an infrared sauna, which was perfect after long hikes. The two hostesses were friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. We'd love to return!
