The view of the hills from the house was great. Had a really good time here, one of the best places I’ve been in Austria. Just a cool stay in general, well worth five stars.

We spent two weeks trekking around the valley, and the location worked out perfectly. A short drive or bus ride gets you to the start of the excursions. The apartment is lovely, and the garden is really well kept. The owners are so friendly and approachable, and they make you feel at home. They check that everything’s all right and often add a thoughtful little extra.

There’s a lovely open view across the field right outside, and the location makes it easy to get to the ski bus. We’ve been coming back for years, and the apartment’s still great, with room for up to six people. The family renting it out are incredibly kind. You can walk to a small Edeka in Milders in about 10 minutes, or drive a few minutes to the larger markets in Neustift. Greetings from Gießen, and sorry we rushed off this time without saying a proper goodbye. We thought it might be a bit early. Usually we say bye on the Friday before leaving, but this time we were at Schallerhof and somehow forgot. See you again, and have a lovely year!

We’re here in the off-season and I’m really happy with it. The price is great for what you get, and the family living in the house are very friendly. Everything’s spotless, the kitchen has all we need, and having two toilets is handy.
