We had a good stay and would happily return. The room was spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, and we appreciated having private parking. The owner was friendly, helpful, and always available. When we had a water leak, it was fixed quickly. The softer mattresses weren't really to our taste, and the WiFi was very slow at times. It would also be handy to have a ski room where boots could dry and skis could be left overnight. Still, this is a good budget option near Kaprun.

The host was friendly, and the location was nice. There were enough kitchen accessories, and we got a Sommer Card as a bonus. It covers a range of activities for free, including cable cars, swimming, and museums. Recommended!

The owner was very easygoing and friendly, without being pushy. Breakfast is available to order, and it's a normal European-style breakfast with coffee, just what you need to get the day started. There are heated racks for ski boots in the ski room too. We spent two nights at Bacherhof while skiing in Kaprun. It's in a lovely spot with great views of the snow-covered mountains. There's also a ski piste beside the mansion, though I don't know if it's operating. The rooms are big, including a children's room that worked fine for two adults for a night's sleep. The living room has enough space for a family meal of four or five. We had a good stay and were treated kindly.

A beautiful, fresh design inside an original 180-year-old farmhouse. The traditional Austrian food was homemade and delicious!
