I cancelled on 25 April because of illness in my family, after paying the deposit on 3 April for a retreat planned for 20 May. It took a lot of unanswered emails before I finally reached Julia on 17 May. She said she’d personally make sure the deposit was returned and asked me to be a little more patient. It’s May 30 now, and I still find the delay really frustrating. I understand they say it’s peak season and they’re short-staffed, but returning the money shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes. I hope they refund it soon so we can put this behind us. Thanks.

The panorama sauna alone is worth seeing, and the photos can speak for themselves. We found the staff welcoming, and both the food and service were high quality. Our apartment was comfortable and spotless, with thoughtful touches everywhere, from a hot water bottle to a hiking backpack and a spa bag for towels. The whole place felt like a fairytale. There’s still lots to discover in the area, so we really hope to come back.

It would make a lovely wedding venue, with an atmospheric outdoor area. The charming village of old, traditional cottages sits surrounded by nature, and the interiors keep that traditional style. There’s also a spa.

The only things I liked were the location and the property's rustic design. Inside, it was cold and there was no heating, and the internet wasn't working. The beds and non-folding sofas were very small. We also had to put the sheets on the sofas ourselves, even though they knew we'd be sleeping there. Cleaning wasn't up to scratch either, with urine stains on the toilet. Then their electrician came into our apartment to change a bulb without even knocking. Very poor place to stay.

The restaurant cuisine was good, and the accommodation was very nice in a rustic setting. Unfortunately, the weather was bad.
