The only part I could have done without was the snoring in our shared room, though that was down to the lovely friends I came with. Everything else made for a fantastic stay: smiling, wonderful staff, tasty Nepalese and Austrian food, and hikes right outside. We saw the place under snow and can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the warmer months. I'd happily recommend it to anyone who can make the trip.

We came as three for a ski break, and the private beginner lift was a big help for the one of us who couldn't ski. The people were so kind, the food was amazing, and there's a sauna too. Such a lovely place. We highly recommend it :)

We got really helpful suggestions for trips nearby, and could rent snowshoes there too. The food was good, the staff were lovely, and we'd be glad to come back.

The views and location are something else, and the buffet dinner was really tasty. The owners and staff were kind throughout. I hadn't realized when booking that the only way to get here is by gondola, so finding that out was a fun surprise. I'd definitely stay again if I return to Austria. My one gripe: showers cost extra, which isn't a big deal, but you only get four minutes, and I'm not sure I can shower that fast 😅

We stopped here for the night while hiking through from Hallstatt to Durnstein Mt gondola. We had a mix-up with the reservation, so if you're bringing a dog, call or email first to check what they can accommodate. The hosts are otherwise very considerate. The building is old and could use a little updating, and some doors don't lock. Still, the atmosphere felt trusting, and I hope it stays that way.
