The garden and balcony give you plenty of outdoor space, and there's room for eight people inside. The layout works really well. The house is modern, nicely furnished, and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need, and there are games and toys for children too. It's well placed for day trips, with lots of great destinations within about 40 minutes, including Dachstein, Raumsau, Rittisberg, Planai, and Taublitz. If we come back to Styria, we'll stay here again.

We felt very comfortable in apartment "Simon" at the Pichler holiday home. It looks brand new, is carefully maintained, and has a huge terrace overlooking the Grimming mountain. My colleague and I stayed there after a conference at the "Sportsarea" in Niederöblarn, extending our visit by three days. I'm an emeritus professor of organic chemistry. It was excellent value, and I'd happily recommend it with five stars. The constant rain during our stay, of course, wasn't anyone's fault. A couple of small suggestions: a chair in each bedroom would be handy for putting clothes on, and a wall-mounted roll of Kleenex in the kitchen would be useful. The village's only pub, the "Grimmingtor," is unfortunately permanently closed right now. Apparently a new tenant is due next year, so evenings should be sorted then. Ferienwohnung Pichler is highly recommended.

The apartment was lovely, with a wonderful view, and several ski resorts were easy to get to. We had a fantastic stay.

The hosts are friendly, and there's even somewhere to eat in the village. The location makes it easy to explore the area. We arrived and felt at home straight away. The house, garden, and apartment are all in immaculate shape, and the apartment was spotless and tastefully furnished. One thing that would be nice: a toaster in the kitchen.
